Please see below details for events in the local community for Remembrance Sunday: 

Saturday 11th November - 10.15 am St Mary's Church, Bolsterstone - Small Church service and ceremonial reef laying outside of church. All welcome.

Saturday 11th November - 1 pm onward. Stocksbridge Park Steels football club, Bracken Moor Lane -  will be holding a ceremony before match kick-off @ 3pm. Veterans' get free entry. Snack bar / Pie & Chips with Bar and refreshments available.

Sunday 12th November - Meet 9.45 am at Johnson Street opposite the Co-Op - Remembrance Parade. All welcome.  The Parade will march with VIP's, Veterans, local youth and community groups and Loxley Silver Band up to the Clock Tower. There will be a service starting at 10.40 am to commemorate 100 years of the Clock Tower followed by the Remembrance Service.On completion of the service the Parade will march back past the Town Hall and into Fox Valley. Anyone who is unable or prefers not to march with the Parade please meet at the Clock Tower before 10.40 am.
