HRH The Duke of Edinburgh came to Barnsley for a special private performance with the Intermediate and Senior Choirs. Around 230 young people took part, as well as 35 volunteers and a small party of honoured guests, Harley, from Stocksbridge High School

was able to attend, Harley has been a member of the choir since January 2023, she originally started in the Intermediate choir, and she passed her audition in September and became a member of the Senior choir and has been settling in very well!

For Harley, the choir has provided her with amazing opportunities that you don’t see every day such as The Duke of Edinburgh’s visit. It has allowed her to try new experiences and make new friends whilst being able to contribute to one of her favourite hobbies.
