Last Tuesday evening, we had the pleasure of welcoming Sophie from Hillsborough Bookshop to our Year 7 Parents' Evening. Sophie joined us to promote her fantastic local business and share her passion for reading for pleasure. She mentioned how much she loves opportunities like this to connect with schools and encourage a love of books among young people - a sentiment we completely agree with!

Sophie shared, 'I had some brilliant conversations with students about what they're reading, what they enjoy in English, and how brilliant their Parents' Evening had been.'

It was wonderful to see the amazing range of books she brought along - there was truly something for everyone!
