Y11 Boys Football

Stocksbridge 3-7 Mercia

Following a number of late drop outs, a depleted Y11 side lost out to Mercia on home soil. Having drafted in several willing Y10 boys and incurring 2 injuries throughout the game, a bare 11 battled their way through a tough game and even took an early lead through a clinical finish from Devon.

Y11 remained well in the game with 2 long range strikes from Bernie which kept the game tight until the final quarter of the game where Mercia took the game away from the exhausted lads!
