You are invited to join us at our Summer Term Parent/Carer meetings of the Autism in Schools Project at Stocksbridge High School. These will take place on;

Tuesday 7th May 9.00-10.30am

Tuesday 25th June 9.00-10.30am

Please meet at reception and I will show you to the meeting room.

Sheffield Parent Carer Forum is working with your child’s school as part of the Autism in Schools Project. My name is Kathleen Farrand-Green, and I am the Autism in Schools Project Worker who will be working with parents and carers of children at Outwood Academy City.

The project will give parents and carers of children with additional needs a chance to feedback on what is, and is not, working for their child at school. It is also a chance to meet other parents/carers who have children with additional needs and share experiences.

Although the project is focused on autism, parents of children with any additional needs (diagnosed or undiagnosed) are welcome to join us. We recognise that many aspects of the project could help and support those children and young people as well.

I have sent this email to all parents/carers in the school, so that everyone has the chance to attend if they want to. We recognise some additional needs may not yet be diagnosed, so want to give everyone the chance to be involved if they feel it would help their child.

Following each meeting, written feedback will be given to the school. All comments made will be anonymous and treated with confidence.
